Penny University

No, don't be fooled by the title (or name of the cafe). Quaint cafe in the east, which just opened this October.
They are known for coffee/drinks, so there is only a small variety for food. We had the muddy (something) drink #foreverbadatnames and the vanilla tea. Smoked salmon bagel and this other dish - Turkish poached eggs. Interesting twist to our usual poached eggs eh?
& the last photo, a failed attempt at trying to have artistic victorian style photo.

Headed out of this sunny island tomorrow morning.. Nope, no aeroplanes involved, sadly. But I hope that it will be a nice chillax place with slightly more stuff (yea thankfully there's a big pool and gym though they close quite early) as compared to Bintan which I went around 2 months back.. The only boohoo is that I gotta lug my studyguide there because there's a test on the very next day I'm back.. Someone please give me a hardworking award!! Hahah alright bye!

The few gatherings that happened this past week.. Idky, but as we grow older, we somehow tend to "lose interest" in shopping. I remember shopping for most of my gatherings in the past and yet I seldom do so now.. It's more like a chill, relax, eat, drink (not necessarily alcohol-related) kinda thing nowadays.

Managed to do a little gathering for.. I dont know what to name us because the title of our group chat is constantly changing. There, I go, haha. named.Yup it was des's birthday. So chilled at Switch by Timbre.

Then, took the chance to sing K, but we somehow lost our stamina even though it was only a 3-hour session. Seems like age is really catching up. boohoooooo :|

I shall be nice HAHAHA and not post the hilarious photo here. :P

I'm kinda "supposed" to post the Halloween at USS photos first, but since I don't have the full set, I shall blog about the rather-random dinner date with ky, hy, mh! Initially we were considering between ThaiPan or Coastal Settlement, but Thaipan at Changi closed since mid August so yea..

& the non-flash photos below are all blur. BOO my cam! I was still thinking last night, not sure if my camera is old (thus photos not so clear) or that the new cameras are sooo clear that my photos seem not as clear compared to them lol. So conclusion, my cam is old. LOL

this is mine!!super awesome I love! Mushrooms + Wagyu beef. What's there not to love about it? The only downside is that they seemed to just throw the ingredients anyhowly only.

Haven't been using my comp so updates for gatherings have been laggedddd. So I'm updated via mobile about the run just 2 days back!
Well it was my second 10K run.. First was then, in 2008 I think? Standard chartered. These are the only two times which I ran 10K. Never trained 10K before. *achievement*. I did a 1h20ishmins previous time even though I was in track (throwface) cause yours truly fell sick just 2 weeks or so before the previous race. It's around 1h10mins for this one. (I think my timing wasnt tracked ?!%%-%:?/#-)

This time round I trained once a week, but I barely cleared 5K for each jog. Totally can imagine the "omg I cleared 5K and my legs are starting to ache already!!" feeling.

Anyway, company rocks! Didn't see a lot of people there even though I know tons of friends joined. #notfated.
