Sorry for the lack of updates to anyone here again..

After on my "personal hiatus" for around 3 weeks or so, I realized I have so many backlogs to clear :O

So here we go.. the 8 (or rather, 7 or 6, because 1 is in US, the other not back from holidays) met up for some dinner & catch up! When was the last time.. The negative thing about such a big group is that it is so hard to coordinate time for meetup!

Our WCX wants to be 190, or same height, so have to erm edit this photo to make him look like one hahaha..

Visited TP for my Biz park goodness.. a pity that there is no more mocha freeze :(

This other day we went to celebrate LL's birthday!! It was a simple affair, the usuals - zi char, cakes, then K Box! I think as we age, we can't sing for long anymore. Our slot was 10pm-1am for 4 of us but we could barely complete the whole session!! :/ We used to not have enough time when there were 5 hours for 3 of us..

Then it was JB the day after LL's birthday celebration! #sohardcore hahaha

Happy & tummy satisfied!

Try Saveur the other day because it was J's birthday! Finally managed to try after hearing so much raves about that place.. The food is good but well, the portion is kinda like fine dining, but the prices are of the lower range so it justifies for it :) Ordered 3 dishes + drinks and total amounted to around 40 odd if not wrong..

I noted the names of the dishes on the photo note on my N2. If not I wouldn't even remember any of the names haha

Went to Chinatown to soak up the CNY mood & some authentic Korean food! Theirs is one of the best and most similar to the ones I had in Korea!

& each of us went home with a big bag of goodies (bought!)

Then it was reunion dinner!

& then it was CNY! Those 3 days of visiting.. really drained me #woesofgrowingold

From Au Chocolat that day, loved that bistro!! Price point is quite affordable(high 10s, low 20s) given MBS, but you have the tendency to want to try soooo many things because they all look so tasty and pretty!!
& I actually downed 4 NY cheesecakes without knowing.. (I don't like cheesecakes!!) Wanted to get those huge macarons but I decided that that's enough.
Prawn pasta (super shortened from the original 6-8 words name) - just so many of them yet I still cant get enough because they were so fresh.. & from that day on, I kept (having intense) craving for pasta ><
Eggs benny with dark chocolate and red wine sauce!! Eggs benny were quite.. nothing spectacular but the sauce is really da bombz. Love it ttm.
NYC X 4 - mini cakes, of course I loved the chocolate one the most heh ;)
Gelato after, decided to get rum & raisin (doesnt taste like the normal ones yet keeping the rum&raisin taste) & caffe (?).. which is coffee, but very smooth.

Love food trips like these.. but it gets me fattt haha but all worth it for the food! ;)

Been doing tons of eating since start of the year.. Barely 2 weeks into the new year and many "achievements" unlocked already! :D

Cooking cooking~ These 2 girls.. Been influencing me (indirectly) to cook by baking muffins & the likes.. So they decided to come over to cook and yea, we cooked. Usually I will make pasta/etc but not these chinese/asian food because somehow, it is more of a hassle for these..

What we had that day! Belacan(?) kangkong, kimchi fried rice, stir fried chicken w vege and tons of mushrooms.. Not too bad!

And then there was this day which I was so impromptu and just headed to the supermarket and bought cookie-baking stuff and started.. Baked once with Mag like back in 07/08 (it was damn good I rmb!) and that was it.

This is my first time baking on my own!

They are in a weird brownish shade even though they are butter cookies because my sis mashed some choc chips with the dough while mixing -.-

$10?!?!?!!! (exclud. taxes!!) for this vege which I prolly cook it for less than a dollar. (Act pro become cook liao cannot pay for vege outside lol)

Favouritest druken prawns!!! I would pay for a whole bowl of that broth/soup. Or should I say.. pot? hahaha

Chilli crab!! Taste as good as it looks.

Salted egg crab wasn't as "watery" that day so it wasn't that nice..

Finally managed to catch the pretty sunset! I wonder why they have such pretty sunsets recently.. Not that I'm complaining haha

Marriott's intl buffet that day to celebrate ting's belated birthday.. Honestly it was mediocre only given the price we paid (~$60) Spread of seafood is soso but there were quite a lot of cooked food & meat (which we don't care). Still liked Carousel's best! Value for money and quality!!
