Finally, I used my computer.. Yea so here's the backdated Desaru post, which I went slightly more than a month ago?
So basically Desaru is a chillax resort place, and the resort which my dad booked - Lotus, was huge and I would say, adequate entertainment! Desaru is around an hour odd or so from JB, so it was pretty near!
We stopped by at one of the JUSCO's, AEON (biggest, I heard) for lunch and some grocery shopping. It was only around 20 minutes away from JB checkpoint. We(I) didn't see any A&W if not I would have settled for that. We had Sushi King (I think) in the end, and this CUP-BON BBT which was awesome. Around RM5-6 each.

Here we are at the resort.. Honestly I didn't take a lot of photos, because most of the time we are either doing water activities or just chillaxing and etc..
Our balcony overlooking the "water theme park" which involves a huge s l o w slide down all the way to the waterfall/whichever.
& photos from here onwards are not in chronological order!
One of the mornings.. Yea I didn't wake up to sunrise even though I was up at 8+ 9am every morning!
Dinner on the first day I think! Buffet dinner.

On one of the days, we went to this fruit farm around the place.. I was expecting something bigger.. Ok this place is big but the "tour" is just like "blah blah blah durian tree *plucks in one durian tree* blah blah blah mangosteen tree *one mangoseen tree*" Which kinda defeats the purpose.
On top of that, it started raining halfway throughout the tour so we didnt manage to visit the animal farm at all. 
Saw this at the minimart of the fruit farm! The minimart sells more of those touristy-mustbuys instead of fruits.. zzzzz
I remembered I had a few of these, which I obviously threw them away.
Last but not least, all the water sports and..
YAY I TRIED PARASAILING!!
Muahaha. One more thing off my list! (V)

Then we did the jet-ski!

Yep yep, so last day, packed up and left!

Looking forward to my next trip coming up in a few days' time! :D

Sorry for the long hiatus to anyone here.. It's been a good 2 weeks of not updating.. & it was partially due to me exceeding the limit for this google/picasa account while trying to look for another alternative..
Here are some of the recent happenings on these 2 weeks.. (excluding my Desaru trip though!)
Caught "Flying" the other day at Esplanade Theatre with the 4some! This is my fourth muscial-comedy (Nanta, Jump, Bibap & Flying) and second one with them! Caught the other two in Korea last summer..
  
There is always this phototaking session after the whole show..
& hey! Look at the guy behind me. hahaha. They were all kinda short (~165-170) So when I walked up there to take photos, they were literally jumping. (to try to be taller than me)
Continuation of my cafe-exploration, we headed far far east on one of the days - Changi Village.
I used to frequent there for breakkie, until breakfast is a word taken out of the dictionary... So we explored "Chock full of Beans", their mains are pretty nice but normal and nothing out of the extraordinary.. But the coffee is good!  
There was TP RMT Homecoming and Abi, Cheryl & I & the rest went back to visit! Basically it was to catch up with our lecturers and also to take a look at how the place had evolved..
 
Their trip this year was to Japan! Envious much but our TW trip wasn't that bad either! Good catch up with the lecturers and we had a finale to the legendary "CAT STORY" by Miss Debbie N. hahaha.
Town the other day and all the Xmas lights are up and on! So pretty~~
& Ikea meal for 3..
Went to Robertson Quay the other day. Loved how the exterior of the buildings looked, I havent had a chance to visit so I have no idea how the interior looks like (yet).
We had those (above) for an early dinner, the pasta was good! Miso base (not that strong of the miso soup, I dont like miso!) and I literally LOL-ed when I saw the plate which the wrap was on. hahahaha

As you can see above, I've been eating and eating.. and eating and eating. Non-stop hits! Oh and hello December! (Love-hate relationship) because there are so much celebrations but the food. oh-em-gee. & BKK trip is up so even more eating! Really gotta be disciplined to head to the gym soon! (&often)
