So woke up to breakfast on the 2nd morning, went kayaking but my arms we aching so much from the day before so I didn't really do anything much.. Just like direction change?

IKR my top X bottom X bag totally tak-match but.. what to do? hahaha

Had Kelong food at that place, pretty similar to those we had at Sun-Moon so no photos! And it seemed like we reserved the whole place because there just isn't any other people.. Probably because we went there during the week after the holidays!

After that we went back to our room! Look at the patio right outside our room... then it's sand and the sea!! So close to my dream house!!

Bought 2 Magnums to noms cause it was so nice and relatively cheap ($2?) Bought choco-cappuccino, then another one (chocolate brownie) after that. #fatdieme

After that, Jas went tanning and I do my anti-social-stay-in-resort-watch-fashionTV again..

Since we're going to have a change of clothes after, we were like "ehhh why not let's change first since the sun is nice.."

So right after snapping like less than 5 photos, the sky became overcast -.-

& minutes later it started to rain. But many minutes later, it's sunny again -.-
So we went to the pool to swim! And of course I did my 1 lap rest 5 minutes and that lap is only 20m long. Seriously, I can't swim at all!!!

After that we had dinner we went to KBOX! It's free, if there are people there, you take turns like each group sing 3-5 songs kinda thing. Just gonna order a drink ($2 for a can) but that's fine! $2 kbox, how to find you tell me?

Then we went to sun moon to have supper/desserts after! It's like we booked the whole restaurant hahaha

Just a me doing star gazing.. (Unable to capture) They have very clear skies (maybe only that day..) and you literally see the stars! (& satellites haha)

Last day!! & yep that's the end! Idm going back for a 3d2n trip, but not 2d1n! Like I said, I'm still more of a city person as much as I love the sea..

So I actually took the chance to have another short getaway before school actually started! Went to Bintan, our priority being water sports over massage.

Hmm, Bintan wasn't that bad, but my conclusion is that no matter how much I love the sun, sand, sea, I'm still a city-person. Like.. I can't understand what kind of entertainment the people there have after evening that kinda thing.

Probably because I'm at the private beach area, and city is 45 mins away, far too troublesome to hire a car (we could, but chose not to, because it's not worth it!) to just drive out to have a meal/walk around the city area (which has nothing much anyway).

Everytime I go overseas, I never fail to appreciate Singapore a little more when I come back.. Ok, maybe excluding the activities we can do here.. which is really limited.

So off I went to Bintan with my Seoul-room mate! (Thankfully I came back sane ifyougetwhatimean)

Nothing to do on board, can't watch my shows in case I get nauseous, can't fall a sleep, so just listened to my mp3, and looked at the sea. We reached Tg Pinang Ferry Terminal, which was the other part of Bintan island, kinda more secluded because we're headed to beach resorts/water sports place.

So right after we reached, we went for this full body massage which my back ached, and the rest likeajelly. Lunch was after, and we had ayam penyet, look at the portion 0.0 but my bbq chicken was good!

So after we checked in the resort, we went to take a shuttle to a sister resort of ours! The staff at our resort said there's clear waters there (yay!). But when we reached there we were kinda stunned? The sea waters have like gradients.. Cream/light brownish, turquoise and blue. We were like eeeeeeee when we saw the cream part but we realized that's because the waters are really shallow (only shin deep) so the cream/light brown that we saw was actually the sand below.

Look at how empty it is!! There were just us 2, and then this couple came like a while later..

Jas swam so far out, but it was still only shin deep. There were practically almost no slopes at all, or like 91 degrees that kinda thing.

Okay, clear but not clear because of the waves. Dk how to rotate.

Jas went to tan while I just sat in the hut, watching my shows/blasting music and I practically stared at the sea for an hour with music. (not complaining) & took random photos. Look how windy it is! The winds are like nonstophits (super overused word here, I know)

She went to sun tan on 2 other occasions while I just stayed in the room for tv shows #antisocial and the only channel that is interesting is the Fashion TV channel. So I kinda know what are the trends this autumn/winter (green), type of swim wear (quite typical), and SS13 (simple, few bold lines).

While on the shuttle back to our resort..

There are a few of these cool vehicles around the resort but we didn't really went around to explore more..

Went for water sports after, and passed my cam to the staff so we get pictures.. Went I got it back, I saw he literally photo-spammed. Like, I got 5 pictures of us just registering for the water sports haha

The "before"..

The thing above is called "Poparazzi" (nope, I didn't misspell it) but it's actually a float that you're supposed to lay on, and the speed boat will tug you on.
Pretty tough IMO, the waves made by the speedboat makes you like bounce up and down, and that float has no balance at all! So we capsized like N times because it was really hard to hold yourself on that thing because of the high speed..

Banana boat after.. Banana boat was ok! Just very slippery that's all.. but at least there is more of balance and all.. But the poparazzi totally killed all my energy haha

Shipwrecked and still very happy! hahaha

Didn't do this, I think it requires like tons of practise and loads of core before I can get that thing up, so didn't bother..

Went to Sun Moon Restaurant after washing up for dinner, the food is pretty good, the avocado chocolate is da bomb! But.. we got nothing much to do after dinner so we just hang around sun moon (3 minutes walking distance away), and lobby that's all.

So this pretty much summed up the whole of my day 1!

first day of year 3 tomorrow, forever excited no matter what, since Primary 1 hahaha
