          This is really random, but I kind of really miss Korea right now.. Not sure if it is because I miss the carefree & do not have to care about anything lifestyle or that school stuff is taking its toll on me. Cant wait to have my super well deserved holiday break soon! Not going anywhere (sadly) but still I get to like rest and dont have to worry about anything.         Feeling cam-whore-ry today, so I just took out the iPod & snap away! Photos looking a little different because I used my table lamp as "ring light" lol. JUST TO TRY!! So basically, the lamp, ipod & me were within a 1 meter radius lol. Dont intend to invest in any ring light because.. for what? I'm also not a full time blogger. But hey, maybe I might one day.. I dont know when. Summary of 2011
2011, good things bad things.Good things start first then! Well I got more disciplined, did a lot of work more than dont know how many years of my life, though not enough or just peanuts compared to others, but I will still label it as good! I managed to strike off one of my want-to-do list, from 4? which I want to finish before I turn 22. Horse/Pony riding.. But I doubt I will be able to accomplish the rest.. I saw a few ugly sides of people? I will put this under "good", because well, good that you will know who to trust and who not to! Next time when that certain someone comes back with another plan in mind, I will not say yes anymore. Living in Seoul for a month plus definitely allowed me to understand how Singapores are so well pampered. It's really good to go out of your comfort zone. You'll learn a lot of new stuff. (Well I may have played so much there but I learn stuff!!) I also learnt how to handle situations well, like how people are unpredictable and you can't rely on them and stuff, so at least when someone throws shit at you, you could defend yourself by volleying it back. And of course, the previous post! Ok bad things start, studies wise, I also do not want to repeat myself again? Just hope I learn from my mistakes and do nt let history repeat itself. I grew much more independent? Decided to put it here because I think I am more than independent enough already. I have this little me in me, trying to make others be less dependent. I've seen many sides of people. Some are just way too extreme. Not entire betrayal, but almost. I really cannot understand how the boyfriend would mean the world to them zzz really. (Like what I said in the "love hate relationship post. Of course, some of you know who I am referring to.) I mean, what's the point of saying sorry and then you're doing it again, am I right? This is pretty much the overall summary since I summarized it a lot. Many thoughts recently, but I promise a pictorial post up next! to mum&dad
It suddenly hit me that my parents have grown so old. Idk, but it pains my heart to see this. Of course, 生老病死 is the nature course life, and nothing can change that. What I am really thankful is putting in the endless effort to shape and groom me into who I am today. They sometimes do say stuff like, "See,if I dont have children I can already retire years ago, travel around the world etc.." but of course I know they dont mean it. Besides slogging their lives (not that entirely but still, you get me) to feed me and everything (& also my sister, but I am the higher maintainence one) they also put their hearts out. Even there are different points of time which I wanted to work part time to feed myself (aka allowance) and not take any from my parents, they just wouldnt allow me to do that. But of course I took up one/some tuition kids to save up and I also need not take money when I need to get any thing/wants. I may appear a little missy at times, but I am just more pampered, not spoilt. That's because I was a single child? for quite some time till my sister came. I still do not help out/help out a little of household chores. But everyone has different ways of thanking their parents right? I treat them to nice food and all, but sometimes it is quite "irritating" that my dad will shove me the $ after that. Even if I refused, he will just transfer me so sometimes it "defeats the purpose" and ended up as him treating instead. This bring back to the point of not letting me spend my own money. So I am really determined to save up some money to bring them on the trip end of the year hopefully. It's time they enjoy anyway, since their last trip was around 1+ years back. Anyway, my point is, every family is different in all ways, but at the end of the day, all parents still do care about their little ones (us), even they are naggy or whatever, it's really for our own good? I've always mentioned that I religiously read 9gag everyday! I usually read them before bedtime, so at least they would have accumulated quite a few pages, enough for me! *I typed this post 2 nights ago, and only published it now..* Hello! Happy 2012! I know I've been very lazy to like blog recently, because I gave myself a 2 week self-declared break because the school wouldnt give me one. So basically I just attended classes, and slack/do nothing in terms of school work for the past 2 weeks. Okay.. So here's a long post to compensate? Even thought I'm updating of stuff like 2 weeks back? But at least I dont update on Feb2012 right? It's just the start of the year so.. chill! *excuses~* People always go like TGIF! TGIF! right? To me, and many others I believe, December is the TGIF + holidays of the months! So there are tons of gathering, celebrations and the like. So my second half of December kinda started of with KYmehmeh coming back to SG! (she's done fishing in Norway haha)  Steamboat at my friend's place for our "Xmas lunch!" Haha what an example of East-meets-West!     Me and Ama went to her place on the day she came back (which was her actual birthday) ad surprised her! The cake was a little crappy (but thoughtful!!) because it was quite a last minute think and the cake shops opened either have these, or hugeass cakes.. I'm supposed to edit in a candle in the last picture but I havent gotten down doing it/dont know how to..  Had twister fries (hopefully it is still available!) and it came back for CNY. Missed the July 's.. release? because I wasnt in SG.      Four of us went to have a meal and celebrated her 21st for her! Went to Thaipan, (no pictures, just refer to previous posts haha) and walked around! We settled at Awfully's because Udders, Salted Caramel, and Pinch of Salt was out of the way! (& Awfully's was only.. directly across us because we were at 112Katong)  I.Also.Must.Extra. So when I uploaded that, people actually came to ask/tell me, "I'm sure it isnt your birthday!" I'm kinda touched because they were my primary school mates~! Aww..     Then there was the Choir Alumni gathering! I'm quite surprised Mdm Yue remembered me (by my name!!)... after around 4 years of not seeing me around?    Then it was the E7's night at KY's for her birthday celebration. She whipped up a sumptuous meal for all of us! Like almost 10 dishes? She was pretty violent that day (dk why) thus the last picture!  My broken reindeer ears..   Because Kai's fridge is totally full to the brim but we still have to make some space for this log cake, we tried to squash the box a little because there's a lot of space between the cake and the box.. But the snowman was knocked down by accident. But it still looks pretty much alright right?   Christmas lunch at Adr's.  Then it was to ECP in the evening for HTHT? The weather that day was super good, chill, like spring time.          We were just imitating KY.. Our HTHT ended very abruptly because we saw some X running across just a few meters away from us. So we literally jumped off the breakwater (which we took a while to climb up because of the steepness)     Then it was PH on the last weds of 2011..    Countdown at Pit Building. Got access to it thanks to Adr's friend. There was some club event. Voulu? & all the above were taken by my S2. Went over to my secclassmate's place after that, stayed for an hour plus? Because it was like 3am already and I'm tired & all and needed to go out the next morning..       Went to Kuishin.bo for Buffet lunch! Not too bad variety. It's a Japanese-International Buffet, but I would very much just like the International part because I dont really fancy sashimi, salmon etc. There's like around 10 varieties of raw fish there~! I slept around 5am the previous night and woke up at 10+am so I'm looking so tired.. I usually wouldnt even be able to wake up, but it's a special day + fooddddd so I'm up! Ending this longggggg post. Took my 2 hours to waste your.. 5 minutes reading this post haha. Sometimes I love this kinda posts, but usually you'll just have negative motivation to start and complete! LOL. Sometimes I wonder how the bloggers do it so often! Alright, gonna go catch my runningman75 now! If you havent started watching, you totally should! :) |
